Boy Meets World TV collection-the saga continues

The sitcom dealt with all kinds of emotions that a teenager battles like peer pressure, jealousy, hatred, being bullied, love, sex and alcohol. But it was not all fun and frolic, when the characters dealt with somber situations there was always a strong message conveyed to the audience.

BMW was a situational comedy mainly targeting the teenage audience, but its subtle play of emotions and intelligent direction made it a favorite among people of all ages. For the youngsters it was a treat because it mirrored their own life in many ways and they were able to relate to it. And the older people enjoyed it because it brought back the nostalgic memories of their own adolescence and tBoy meets worldy could also understand the present generation’s hiccups in growing up.

In the first season the show basically focused on Cory and his best mate Shawn. It was set in Philadelphia and portrayed the trials and tribulations of a young mind exposed to so many changing situations. Cory’s character was played by Ben Savage and he proved his mettle as a fantastic actor. Both Shawn and Cory are in the 6th grade. Cory’s future girlfriend Topanga was also present in this season, but here he’s mostly shown ignoring her. Cory also has an elder brother Eric in 10th grade. It’s at Eric’s beBoy meets worldst that he ignores Topanga and all girls in general, as Eric feeds him with some gibberish about how girls are. On tBoy meets world season 1 other hand Eric himself enjoys company of girls frequently, much to Cory’s annoyance. There are a large number of heart warming scenes between tBoy meets world series two brothers. Another important revelation about Cory is his strong dislike for his teacher Mr. Feeny.

The second season shows Cory in the seventh grade, he gets promoted to the high school and one of the things that he’s happiest about is not being around Mr. Feeny any more. But poor Cory is in for a shock when he finds Mr. Feeny is the principal of his new school. The second season also marked the entry of Mr. Turner as their English teacher who shares their dislike for Mr. Feeny and eventually both Cory and Shawn develop a deep bond with Mr. Turner. These episodes were full of tongue in cheek humor as well as stirring moments.
