Everybody thinks that the womans husband threw her in that lake and is the murderer but Jessica seeing the lady falling in the lake doesn’t accept that the husband is the murderer.

Poison pen letters are spread by unknown people in Cabot Cave to kill people easily. Due to the poison pen letters the owner of a horse ridden by Jessicas niece dies. The program takes twists in the second season which makes it more interesting and gaining more viewers. Even one of the students of Jessica is arrested for murder but the case is dropped against him as he cant be proved guilty of murder because of unavailability of eye witnesses.
