Romania, Bulgarien and Hungary have many sights and locations falling under the UNESCO world heritage list; let's traverse through some of these sites: Romania

o Sighisoara (Transylvania) - It's also known as the Dracula's homeland and here you can visit the birthplace of Vlad Tepes aka Dracula. It's a medieval town of the Saxon era. Not much has changed in this town over the last five centuries and you can visit some of its famous churches like Biertan, Prejmer, Vicri, Darjiu, Sashiz, Valea Vilor and Calnic; all these monuments fall under the world heritage list.

o Maramures (northern Transylvania): This region has its roots deep into history. Birsana church is the most famous, built in 1720; it has some of the finest paintings. The Gate Tower is infact has the distinction of being the highest building in Europe.

o Bucovina (Moldavia): This area gain has many beautiful and artistic monasteries all marked in the world heritage list. The monasteries are covered in beautiful paintings even on their exterior walls; these paintings are masterpieces of the Byzantine era and were created around the 15th century. Sucevita is the largest one, with Ladder of Virtue illustrated on its walls, other famous ones include Moldovita, Vornet and Humour
